Melissa Menzer

This Saturday, I took a workshop with Mellisa Menzer at Jeanine Taylor Folk Art in Sanford. Melissa Menzer is an incredible talented sculpture artist. She has golden fingers and a generous personality. She likes to collect small antiques pieces from flea markets in order to create beautiful personalities. In her work you can discover great passion for collecting small pieces of the past who can make you laugh, make you nostalgic, or make you rediscover unforgettable souvenirs.

Well, my Maurice is a crazy French artist. He is wearing a beret (French hat). Smokes cigarettes like most of the French people and has drank too much wine. In the cheese jar, I also put our French mascot: a rooster, knife and fork for the good French food, brushes, a French wine label, and a coin from my hometown Toulouse. In closing, I really enjoyed a wonderful day making art with all my friends. Mellissa is going to have another workshop on December at Jeanine Taylor Folk Art. She can count on me for another funny adventure.

Drunk Maurice

Looks like Maurice is drunk with art! What fun to watch all these little personalities come to life under such talented hands! MK
